What Makes Us Different

What sets Security Glass Block apart is the way its glass block panels are fabricated and installed.

Instead of relying on traditional mortar joints, the company uses advanced fabrication technology to create panels that are stronger, cleaner, lighter weight, and better sealed against the elements. The instant glaze adhesive actually includes an antimicrobial component. This helps prevent mold and mildew from forming on the joints, which can be a common issue with traditional mortar joints in high-moisture areas.

That same commitment to quality carries through to installation. Security Glass Block does not cut corners, and its work is completed by experienced, courteous, fully insured employees, not subcontractors. Customers can feel confident they are getting a better-built product and a team that takes pride in doing the job right.

Our Process

Security Glass Block makes the process straightforward.

After the initial call or website inquiry, the Security Glass Block team gathers project details, confirms measurements, and works to provide a proposal quickly. Once the quote is approved, the next steps are simple: select your glass block style, choose an installation date, and let the team handle the rest.

From there, communication remains clear and the work stays on track. On installation day, the crew arrives ready to complete the project with professionalism, cleanliness, and attention to detail—delivering a finished result that looks great and is built to perform for years to come.

Our History

Installing a glass block window.

Security Glass Block was incorporated in March 1990 by Bill Wirth, who founded the company with the goal of providing Milwaukee-area homeowners and business owners the high-quality glass block products and dependable service they deserve.

Under Bill’s leadership, the company built a strong reputation by focusing on craftsmanship, customer satisfaction, and a willingness to keep improving its products and processes rather than relying on past success.

In October 2006, Jim and Lynn Coster purchased the company and continued building on that foundation. Then, on October 18, 2019, Nick and Brianna Behselich became the current owners after seeking a business that aligned with their professional goals and values. Today, they continue to lead Security Glass Block with a focus on quality products, strong service, team development, and ongoing improvement—carrying the company’s history forward while continuing to raise the standard for glass block solutions in the Milwaukee and Madison area.

“I highly recommend Security Glass Block Milwaukee as an incredible business and team. They took lots of time showing me the various custom options with superior customer service and the pricing was fair plus the service was very fast!”
